From September 11, 2026, to January 24, 2027, theMusée Jacquemart-André is hosting an exhibition dedicated to Jacomo Robusti, known as Tintoretto (1518/1519–1594), a major figure of the Italian Renaissance. As the first major retrospective of the artist in France, the exhibition highlights his entire career and the enduring influence of his work, the legacy of which extends to 19th-century French painting.

Bringing together nearly 180 works—including around 70 by Paul Cézanne—the exhibition "Cézanne and Us" juxtaposes his work with that of artists who, from the late 19th century to the present day, have found a springboard in his art to reinvent painting. From Paul Gauguin to Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Joan Mitchell, Bridget Riley, and Peter Doig, the exhibition traces a history of influences, artistic lineages, and reinterpretations.
