Monet: Painting Time – Musée de l’Orangerie Exhibition
From September 30, 2026, to January 23, 2027, at the Musée de l'Orangerie.
As early as the 1870s, Claude Monet was regarded as the quintessential Impressionist artist. In the 1890s, through series such as *The Cathedrals*, *The Haystacks*, and *The Poplars*, the painter revealed an approach akin to the dissection of time—a trajectory that culminated in his final testament, the *Water Lilies* (*Nymphéas*). To mark the centenary of his death, the museum is organizing an exhibition focused on the relationship between Monet’s work and the concept of time.
